Pronunciation
[edit]Hey, can we get a pronunciation of this in IPA in parentheses? An important addition to the article, I would think, but I don't anything about it... Bobnorwal (talk) 18:40, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I don't know anything about IPA but you can hear the pronunciation here: [1]. If anyone knows how to turn this into an IPA pronunciation that would be great. Prioryman (talk) 18:54, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
- Hey, thanks for the link. I'm no great expert at IPA or Wikipedia, but after a little fumbling I think I got it. If it's wrong, I'm sure there's somebody out there who can come along and fix it. Great article, by the way... :) Bobnorwal (talk) 01:27, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
Mentioned in the press
[edit]Bizarrely enough, the Icelandic newspaper Dagblaðið Vísir has run an article about this article: [2] (translation). Prioryman (talk) 06:42, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
- What's so bizarre about it? The news article is about the fact that this article ended up on the front page of Wikipedia as the article of the day. Icelanders are incredibly self conscious when it comes to any forms of foreign publicity and will not hesitate to report about it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Choken1 (talk • contribs) 15:59, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
