Photo On Article & Notability[edit]

@MarkCarey911, also care to explain how you got the image on the article? Celestina007 (talk) 22:18, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Celestina007, the image is my property, I am a film journalist. So I visit movie locations and attend events. I took it. Thank you so much for asking MarkCarey911 (talk) 08:23, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
MarkCarey911, I have transferred our conversation here. Have you by any chance seen WP:COI? If not, you may need to see that now. Also have you seen WP:PAID? If not you may need to see that now & accordingly declare if you have a COI with the subject of your article or if you have received financial reward for creating this article. Finally I have notability concerns here. Have you seen WP:NACTOR, if not, see that now & tell me of the three criteria, which criterion you feel he satisfies? Celestina007 (talk) 18:07, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Celestina007, firstly, I am an upcoming journalist. We are rarely granted access to these celebrities and we only take pictures when we see them by chance. I do not know him in person, I have never been in business or had a conversation with him before. Most of these stars are hard to reach and I am not making any effort. I just felt the need to create the article because he is the most talked-about Nigerian movie star right now in the media space. So, both WP:COI and WP:PAID do not apply to me sincerely. SECONDLY, I am certain he satisfies the WP:NACTOR criteria. He played the lead role in Nigeria's biggest film of 2019 and a film that is currently "Number One" on Netflix. He also played a major role in a Trace TV funded series currently streaming on Netflix. And many others. He also has a large fan base and following, if you go on twitter now, he is being talked about. Meanwhile, I am glad you are drilling me like this, because I see it as my opportunity to learn. I appreciate you so much for your constant response. MarkCarey911 (talk) 17:20, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
MarkCarey911, I’m not feeling too good tonight so I’d go straight to the point, normally this should have been a classic case of WP:TOOSOON but seeing that he won the trailblazer award this gives me a reason to presume notability & following a WP:BEFORE, I think he may qualify per WP:BASIC. I’m going ahead to remove the “notability” tag but just so we are clear I didn’t & still don’t buy the story of you meeting him by chance or you being an upcoming journalist or any of the tales you conjured up. I wasn’t born last night & neither are half the editors on this collaborative project, so get your ways clean & straight forthwith. Anyways, the original “living in bondage” was the bomb back in the 90’s original Nollywood! Celestina007 (talk) 19:35, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Celestina007, thank you so much, you are far too kind. The truth still remains that I was not paid. About the name, this man is professionally known as Jide Kene Achufusi and not as Swanky JKA. So is it possible to return it to the original name I created it in? Or is there a particular reason for the move? It is typical of film editors in Nollywood to write whatever they feel like in the film credit as the actor's name, if you don't say your name clearly to them, they'll assume your nickname is your real name. They erroneously credited him as "Swanky JKA" MarkCarey911 (talk) 20:16, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Celestina007, Please get well soon. MarkCarey911 (talk) 20:19, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@MarkCarey911, thank you, about the name, see WP:COMMONNAME. In this case his “nick name” is his common name, so; we’d use that, do you understand me? if not, feel free to ask me another question but make sure you read WP:COMMONNAME thoroughly before asking me that other question.
