There should be a changes section
[edit]The changes from the original should be documented, which I did but apparently my sources aren't good enough. If you have a source in mind let me know, the reason I put so many sources is so one of them could be good enough. Besides some things are obvious by looking at them, you play the demo or see the trailer, or even look at the artwork/screenshots they posted and see that all that I put there applies.
Also,
"with a mass of primary sources and an single secondary source that doesn't support most of the content"
All of my sources support the content if you look at them. (Kelis98 (talk) 22:10, 27 September 2022 (UTC))
- Linking to multiple product pages (not even subpages, just their front page) to source all of that was gross WP:OR and SYNTH. You must have sources that explicitly list and denote the changes, and they need to be secondary to show due weight. Everyone knows there's changes, but whether they're important enough to mention depends on reliable coverage. -- ferret (talk) 22:20, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
- What is WR:OR and Synth?
- The changes are important and substantial enough to mention.
- So I have to have a source that says the changes? I can’t just list the game itself? It’s obvious if you play this and the original.
- The sky is blue and you don’t need a source for that do you? If you did you’d just source the sky.
- I’ve covered this game enough to know the changes, give me a list of things needed in a source and I’ll find it. Kelis98 (talk) 22:59, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
- You need reliable secondary sources, just as I said before. WP:OR, WP:RS. <-- These are links to the relevant guidelines/policies. -- ferret (talk) 01:21, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
- Well if you ask me Wikipedia asks for way too much sometimes which makes it hard to actually contribute, (I run a wiki myself and never had to go through so many loopholes) but I will see what I can find. (Kelis98 (talk) 03:43, 28 September 2022 (UTC))
- Wikipedia strives to be a general encyclopedia, which means many details that get excessive coverage on fandom/wikia/gamepedia and similar don't belong on it. -- ferret (talk) 15:36, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
- Before I even make any changes, I found this:

- And wanted to know if it is good enough to be a source? (Edit: Went ahead and added it since it seems to be a good source) (Kelis98 (talk) 21:38, 29 September 2022 (UTC))
- Per WP:VG/S, Gameranx is unreliable. -- ferret (talk) 22:47, 29 September 2022 (UTC)

- Not that I consider a "changes" section terribly important, but the cat is already out of the bag in this article's history with regards to reliable sources. Not even the developers themselves are reliable, much less the tenuous "evidence" used year after year to claim its imminent release. Claire F Eier (talk) 15:06, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
- And again, the only source for a March 2023 release is tenuous: the Steam page also listed its release as "2020," "Summer 2021," and "coming soon," all of which were not only obviously but also literally false. Claire F Eier (talk) 13:46, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
- Oh no! It appears the source for the March 2023 date was wrong. Hi everyone. Claire F Eier (talk) 16:26, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
- Products can be delayed. Any officially stated release date is a projected release date until release day actually rolls around. In their post, they acknowledge that it was due late March 2023 before this newest delay, so the date wasn't "wrong" in any way apart from them not being fortune tellers. Soundtrack
[edit]The soundtrack includes the track "The Order of Death" from 1984 album This Is What You Want... This Is What You Get, which is used in the credits of the game. The track was originally leaked via a demo of the final battle with SHODAN, sourced from this article, [1] however no information has currently been released on an official soundtrack. 76.11.76.90 (talk) 03:42, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
