Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (many people have asked me why there is no article on wikipedia about Tenashar so I attempted to create it and I ask if it is possible to help me edit this article I have reliable sources) --112.1.171.104 (talk) 07:47, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I now got some helpe from a friend that often uses wikipedia and I managed to organize the article.

Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (I have now contacted the artist herself by mail and will foward me all the information I need to finish building my article) --Maledm (talk) 13:07, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The usual standard for inclusion is explained here. While this article has too much to be speedily deleted, I don't believe it'd survive a deletion discussion in it's current form. Note also that information in Wikipedia has to be verifiable, and written neutrally, so you're probably best to avoid using any information you get from her directly. Birthdate

[edit]

There has been some recent edit warring regarding Tenashar's date of birth. Today the Straits Times, a reliable source, reports in a piece for which they spoke with Tenashar that she is 33 years old. I couldn't find a reliable source for the day and month of birth, though The New Paper reported in 2016 that Tenashar had a Facebook account under her real name where "she lists her birthday as Aug 3, 1990". The age consistently reported by the Straits Times disagrees with that birthdate, and we should follow the secondary source which likely was informed by court documents (besides, I couldn't find that Facebook page; citing The New Paper for what Facebook says is very roundabout, and they also report on some doubts about whether the birthdate given by Tenashar on Facebook is correct; they do not confirm it in their own voice). The birth year of 1992 that's inserted without source by an IP editor is false either way. Huon (talk) 17:44, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Note: Removed copy/paste of article content from talk page. ‑‑ElHef (Meep?) 16:34, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: The page's protection level has changed since this request was placed. You should now be able to edit the page yourself. If you still seem to be unable to, please reopen the request with further details. That said, when making an edit request please make a specific request in the form "Change X to Y". Do not copy the article to the talk page and make your changes here because we cannot see what changes have been made. ‑‑ElHef (Meep?) 16:34, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
FYI, the edit request above appears to be from the same IP-hopping, edit-warring IP editor who caused the semi-protection to be put in place on this page in the first place. And the edit they requested is a reversion to the same copyright-violating, puffery-filled copy-paste from Tenashar's official website ("The Tenashar bombshell is a force to be reckoned with...") that you can see reverted 15+ times in this article's edit history since June 8. Looks like the semi-protection is still needed here. AtticusX (talk) 17:42, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
