Susan Wokoma[edit]

The actress, Susie Wokoma, who played "Marie" was also in another CBBC show called "Serious Jungle" (2002) but is credited as Susan Wokoma rather than Susie. "Serious Jungle" was factual wildlife show in which Susie, along with 7 other young teens, had to live in the Malaysian jungle. Information on "Serious Jungle" can be found on wikipedia and imdb.com.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.70.214.252 (talkcontribs)

  • I noticed that too. I hope she will do a lot more acting, so I can give her an article of her own... - Mgm|(talk) 21:02, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

More Susan Wokoma information - her professional name is officially Susie rather than Susan and she is a member of the National Youth Theatre having done 2 main shows with them since joining in 2004 and another 2 shows this year for their 50th anniversary. Though of Nigerian heritage; she was born and bred in South-East London, UK and is 18 years old. She is now fully pursuing her acting career as she has just finished her A Levels this year. A face of the future!

Revert[edit]

MacGyverMagic reverted my edits with the following summary: "rv; the slashes in the br tags are not needed and dates are automatically shown based on a user's preferences." The dates are only shown based on a user's preference if they're SIGNED IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!1!11!1!!!1111!1! The date format ought to be appropriate for logged out readers (the vast majority) and hence should be in British format, just as we use British spellings in this article and not American, because it's about a British topic. Even for logged-in users, the date is only shown in their chosen format if it's been WIKIFIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!1!!111!!1!!1111! MacGyverMagic had failed in his duty of care to the reader by not wikifying all of the dates. I have attempted to rectify this. The <br /> tags indeed do not require slashes as they are converted by the parser, but we ought to be encouraging the use of well-formed tags amongst our editors who will be seeing the wikisource and may well find themselves one day writing some XHTML. There is too much tag soup on the web for us to let our guard down and lazily say to ourselves, "let the parser sort it out". Sheesh Ganesh! I am therefore entirely justified in reverting back to my version, with the addition of further date wikification. Thank you and goodnight. Konstantynów 12:45, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • It appears the Manual of Style agrees with you on the dates. As for: "MacGyverMagic had failed in his duty of care to the reader by not wikifying all of the dates." I'm quite positive I wikified all the dates, but if we're talking about non-logged in user's that wouldn't matter much. While we're on the topic of proper formatting, please cut down on the exclamation marks. I am much more likely to respond in a friendly manner when people do not scream to me. - Mgm|(talk) 12:18, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
