17 King Street, Bristol → The Famous Royal Naval Volunteer – Use building's name rather than address. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:11, 31 March 2023 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:52, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
- With the history of this and Talk:King Street, Bristol this may not be uncontroversial and probably should be a full RM. As the only reference in this article lists it by it's street address not the tenant, and the article is in fact about the building the tenant is only mentioned as a side note. - Lots of buildings have an address, under the same lodgic The Plough in Ipswich could be at 2 Dogs Head Street, Ipswich. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:20, 1 April 2023 (UTC)

- Support per nom. Not exactly a new pub. It's occupied the building since at least the 19th century and the public face of the building is the historic pub façade. Much better title. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:38, 5 April 2023 (UTC)
- @Crouch, Swale: can you update the article accordingly? I'm worried I might make it worse by doing so myself. Arbitrarily0 (talk) 19:15, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks @Arbitrarily0: done. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:22, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
Name incorrectly spelled in title
[edit]it's called The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer, not Naval, the name is written on the pub sign in the photo and that's what it goes by in its media. I'm not entirely sure how to go about amending this, I tried based on instructions but not convinced it worked.
So, it turns out I got it!
