[edit]

every episode that fits into the season 18 timeframe, which is before may 20th as stated on various sites, has a title and an airdate. Every other episode therefore is part of the upcoming season 19 Grande13

Reception

[edit]

Why does the reception section of every episode summary this season only feature the reaction of "Robert Canning of IGN"? Does no one else review this show? Or is this some sort of attempt at promotion? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.15.62.57 (talk) 04:47, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews are hard to find, his is the only one with easy access. Rhino131 (talk) 15:43, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Childish

[edit]

I think the summary for "He Loves to Fly and He D'ohs" needs a rewrite. I don't really feel up to it, but it just seems so childish to me. Anyone agree?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tydamann (talkcontribs) 12:30, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed?

[edit]

where did this season get officially confirmed?--mo-- (Talk | #info | ) 20:51, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Some time ago. It is confirmed though and I could dig up a source if you wish. -- Scorpion 20:54, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

so, yes, please lets see this confirmation. It would be a great relief for at least 2.000.000 people...=)

Elton John in a Funeral for a friend

[edit]

On the DVD season ten comentary for I'm with Cupid they say that Elton John will be in a funeral for a friend singing one of his songs this could be pretty acurate if you listen to the commentary

Well I won't be able to get season 10 until September, but commentaries are the best sources we have so do they actually say Funeral for a Fiend? If so, it could be added. Gran2 06:49, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's pretty unclear from the commentary. I think it's a character based on Elton John, because it seems that if someone as big as Elton was going to appear, he'd have been mentioned in the pre-season press release. Although, to be fair, Metallica wasn't mentioned in any kind of press release, so you never know. -- Scorpion0422 15:02, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Final Season

[edit]

Isn't this the final season? Shouldn't that be mentioned? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.236.165.20 (talk) 01:57, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is no source that says it will be the final season, so no, it should not be mentioned. -- Scorpion0422 02:04, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

N is for Nerder

[edit]

What are we doing with regards to N is for Nerder? It was mentioned precisely once in an interview and no details have surfaced about it, however we are assuming it is in Season 19, which we are not doing for any other episodes. If there are no objections, I'm moving it to the LoE in a couple of days time. Will (talk) 00:26, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Even if somebody does object you'll move it anyways, so what's the point? -- Scorpion0422 00:37, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please assume good faith. Will (talk) 00:38, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I object ... the exact same details put for "N is for Nerder" is the same thing for "Lost Verizon" (despite the guest star). What's the point of a "known title"'s section if you remove titles? I respect your opinions, and note, this is a talk page. - Yours truly, Superior(talk) 20:32, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Except the source for Lost Verizon explictly says "season 19". Will (talk) 20:33, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gordon Ramsay

[edit]

What will it take to get Gordon Ramsay to appear on the article? The article is on the web and on Gordon Ramsay wikipedia [page | http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_Ramsay#Guest_appearances] it even says it.--JoeMonkeyPotato 18:11, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The source you are using is well over a year old, which would mean that it is a target for the 18th season, not the 19th and it clearly says that it hasn't been officially confirmed. Until a new article can be found that confirms him for the 19th season, that should be left off. -- Scorpion0422 18:17, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

More Titles and Production Codes

[edit]

I was browsing and came across this webpage [1]. It seems to have more episode titles and production codes than what is currently on the page. I don't know if the source is reliable, though, so I won't add it in yet. Rufous-crowned Sparrow (talk) 01:36, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think all that information is already on List of The Simpsons Episodes. Also, TV.com is not a reliable source (I think, so I could be wrong here), so the information could not be uses even if it was new (again, I think). Rhino131 (talk) 01:57, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
They were removed because one user thinks that including titles here is speculation. -- Scorpion0422 02:34, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Future episodes

[edit]

A week ago I added into the list of upcoming episodes the ones listed on http://www.snpp.com I see nothing wrong with citing information from this site as this site appears to be a very good source of information about the Simpsons. In fact that site has been around way longer than the Wikipedia and I have never seen them wrong about upcoming episodes and really surprised that site is not used as a source of information. Episode Numbers

[edit]

On FOX.com, in the "watch full episodes" section, the season 19 finale is listed as Season 19: Episode 28, not episode 20 as it is listed here. Mona Leaves-A is listed as 27, not 19, etc. etc. What source is used to determine where one season ends and another begins for this article? While the dates make perfect sense, and the numbering of episodes in this article make much more sense than the numbers FOX.com is giving, it still seems odd that the article would disagree with the official distributor of the show. -- Whoa2000 (talk) 12:06, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
