Publisher?
[edit]The article says it is published by The Free Press. This Amazon listing shows Harvard University Press. Was it both? Aleta Sing 23:54, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, the FP edition was '99 and the HUP in 2000. They're both listed in the Editions section of the article. Gonzonoir (talk) 08:42, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, ok I see that now. Thanks! Aleta Sing 15:51, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Focus of the book?
[edit]This article presents the book as being about gay marriage. My impression is that the major topic is in fact the ethics and politics of sex, and of its legal and social regulation, with gay marriage as a primary example. Unless someone has opinions to the contrary I'm going to see if I can dig out my copy and broaden the topics discussed in the article. JRBrown (talk) 22:38, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
- It would be great if you could add some more to the article. I read the book in the context of the gay marriage debate, so may well have skewed the representation. I hope the chapter-by-chapter breakdowns are reasonably fair as they stand, but further detail would be good and perhaps the lead should be refocused. Gonzonoir (talk) 15:41, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- Since nothing was forthcoming on this I rephrased the lead myself to try and emphasize other aspects of the book. Gonzonoir (talk) 09:09, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
