I understand, and will wait until you either stop or are blocked because your current user name violates policy. Additionally, PR websites are user-generated content, and cannot be used as Reliable Source per WP:V. Phearson (talk) 03:36, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I am using my work email. media, is that why? I am not good at this.... what do you want me to do? stop now? I have ref url's noted but I know, it's a mess isn't it? I'm sorry. (i meant i logged in using my work email pre-fix as username) ALSO, a table was going to be entered showing some discography details for Thom. I am scared now to mess with it yet. I guess I can prepare that and the citings and wait.
No, your username is in violation of WP:U, so you should get it changed! See your talk page for more information. You also may have a WP:COI since it appears that you are part of a PR firm, and I must discourage you from writing about the subject if I am correct in that subject. See WP:PEW & WP:NOT for more information on why this is frown upon. Also, remember to add ~~~~ at the end of your posts as a signature. Phearson (talk) 03:47, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I see about the PR entry. I did not realize that until after. There are record co/label urls. I can add more. Sorry. Is there a neutral dept we can contribute funds to in exchange for entries for future? Just asking, I don't know that process.Staffjenmedia (talk) 03:57, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, Wikipedia does not accept money in exchange for adding promotional materials. We strive to be unbiased. See WP:POLICY and again, WP:NOT. We are not facebook, youtube, etc. Phearson (talk) 03:53, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, trust me I don't have aspirations of doing this a lot really. I honestly don't know how you manage this. ha ha (It's just that after 14 Grammy awards people look for the wikipedia entry for this person.) Staffjenmedia (talk) 03:57, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I see ... of course you wouldn't take money., I was not implying that. Naturally anything would have to be done by the book anyway regardless. I guess I can google a service.Staffjenmedia (talk) 03:56, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Financial contributions to the Wikimedia Foundation are what enable us to survive; it's just that there cannot be any kind of quid pro quo in return. As to the other: record company websites and the like are notoriously not reliable sources on a lot of things, since they lack the requisite neutral point of view on the topic. --Orange Mike | Talk15:30, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
