ref audit and recent edits
[edit]Hello all,
Today I've completed a reference audit for this article since this guy could end up impeached. In the process, I've removed these statements from 'Federal Judge' section:
Porteous is well-known for his stance upholding the Constitutional separation of church and state and his judgments in defense of the First Amendment right to free speech.
and
He said there was ample evidence that many of the groups participating in the Governor's Program on Abstinence were "furthering religious objectives."
For the first one, it seems POV. If one were a conservative type of fellow, one could make an opposite statement. As for the second one, I could find no refs for it. If anyone here finds any, re-add it. Hope this helps. - Thanks, Hoshie 01:31, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
- From memory, there were references to these. But it was a long time ago..! I'll have a look and see if I can find them – Agendum (talk) 22:13, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
- I've re-added the second line with a ref. I haven't been able to find a ref for the first one. I still have more to add when it comes to the hearings. I've already added everything from the impeachment vote to until now. - Thanks, Hoshie 11:48, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
