- Thomas Thornton → Thomas Thornton (Church of England clergyman)
- Tom Thornton → Tom Thornton (footballer)
- Thomas Thornton (disambiguation) → Thomas Thornton
– There are 11 men listed upon the Thomas Thornton (disambiguation) page, with no indication that the five-sentence stub delineating the 16th-century Church of England clergyman is in any manner primary over the combined renown of the remaining 10 men, including the American clergyman Thomas C. Thornton. Likewise, no evidence that the four-sentence stub for 1910s footballer Tom Thornton displays greater prominence than the stub for Tom Thornton (cricketer). The base name Tom Thornton should redirect to the Thomas Thornton dab page. — Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 19:15, 19 June 2022 (UTC)

- Support - no PRIMARYTOPIC, move dab to base, and redirect the 'Tom Thornton' page there as nom suggests. GiantSnowman 21:34, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
- Support some of the others get more views[[1]]. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:56, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
- Support. But prefer Thomas Thornton (academic administrator), which is what he's best known for. -- Necrothesp (talk) 09:48, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
- I would likewise support replacing the original nomination of Thomas Thornton → Thomas Thornton (Church of England clergyman) with the suggested Thomas Thornton → Thomas Thornton (academic administrator). —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 20:12, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
