I am unable to verify the existence of the Nolue source on the internet, and I'm unable to find any mention of the subject in the Narasimhaiah source. More identifying information would be extremely useful in both cases: Reading Beans, are you able to help with this? Vanamonde93 (talk) 18:16, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wait, Vanamonde93, you have a copy of the 1988 issue edited by Emananjo and Narasimhaiah? If so, then, it should be there. I don’t really have time to start looking for the source since you already have it. If you can’t find it in the issue you’re holding, then, remove it and whatever fact it is supporting. I hope I have clarified the existence of the Nolue source? Best, Reading Beans (talk) 21:10, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I do see the Nolue book in the source, thanks for finding it. I cannot see it on the internet anywhere (yes, I looked on google books, and a bunch of other places, before posting here). Perhaps it was a small print that never made it to the internet. I do have the Narasimhaiah source, but ctrl-f gives me nothing, reading the one chapter that logically relates to this topic gives me nothing, and I'm sorry but I'm not going to read through 200-some pages. Few hours ago, you mentioned to Joe about me making up sources that were similar to what Pradixicae found, had it been that the source I cited was in hardcopy (like the previous one), all hell would probably be breaking loose now. It’s a good thing you found the book in Nolue and it’s a good thing you’ve acknowledged that some books are not on the Internet.
For the Narasimhaiah source, I’ll go ahead and remove it (since, like you too, I won’t bother re-reading the book to find the page or paragraph). Best, Reading Beans (talk) 05:51, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The difference is that the books in the previous discussion were from a major publisher that would certainly have a record online. Also, please keep WP:BURDEN in mind; the responsibility to demonstrate verifiability always lies with the person adding a piece of text. Vanamonde93 (talk) 06:22, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Of course, major publisher. IT MUST BE ONLINE. Anyways, am I allowed to request that my creations be deleted? I just want to know though. Can I request for G7 on all the articles I’ve created so far? Reading Beans (talk) 06:30, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Concerns should be raised as fast as possible as I no longer plan on being active for some time to clear my head off. I won’t probably reply to pings made by 12:01 Nigerian time till Godknowswhen.
PS: I made substantial edits to Ngwa people, Dahiru Musdapher, Igbo literature, Third Generation of Nigerian Writers using books (that you may not be able to find). You may as well recruit some more administrators to help in your findings. I wouldn't want to waste the communities time. Gracias. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 21:19, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
