Electronic visa equipment
[edit]Do we have a source that indicates whether the new visa equipment is now being used at Iranian airports? Heroeswithmetaphors (talk) 07:01, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't know the answer but may i suggest checking the MoFA website. May be they have the answer. 68.197.144.38 (talk) 23:59, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
Awful, awful article
[edit]This article is really awful. Aside from being out of date, it's terribly misleading. The overwhelming majority of those recorded as "tourists", are Shi'a pilgrims from neighboring countries. Moreover, the article uses incredibly unreliable sources for it's claims, statistics, etc. I'm going to try and spend a little while today making it more accurate and objective. Although, this will be difficult, as there are no reliable sources for statistics (whether economics, demographics, etc) in Iran. LiamFitzGilbert (talk) 05:11, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
- I am sorry to contradict you but there are MANY reliable sources about economy or demographics in Iran (whether World Bank, World factbook, US Congressional Service/Library of Congress, Iranian academic sources, Iranian government sources, mainstream media, etc.) I find this article useful and factual. 81.62.104.24 (talk) 22:15, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
- Clearly now it's massively outdated. Most of the figures given are 2006 at the latest. No-one goes "on holiday" to Iran. It's a war zone. Cls14 (talk) 23:11, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
- Cls14, you are hilarious. But in case you weren't joking, there was no war in Iran in 2015. Not sure what you were referring to? Leave a message on my talk board if you want to discuss something - BardiaSaeedi. 05:37, 18 March 2017 (UTC)

Dangers
[edit]Many European citizens have been prisoned in the last years after visiting Iran. Many countries warned their citizens to not enter this country. Please someone add this, it's super important. 46.51.16.42 (talk) 03:38, 16 November 2023 (UTC)
