Outstanding questions
[edit]The main question is how many were produced. Air-Britain's caption says "one-off ... T-T.10", which implies 1 only, reg (if genuine) JA3026. The example shown in Jane's may have the same reg (under the wing the first number looks like 3, on the tail like 2). So perhaps the prototype. But other aircraft labelled T-T.10 within their image have other numbers, implying production, at least, of one more prototype if not series. See this with JA3049 in foreground and maybe JA3026 (though, if so, with a repainted tail) behind. Certainly Jane's gives a first production first flight date Feb 1953, though in the 1956 edition. They seem to have had no update from Toyo.
The other detail, which might be resolved if there were more aircraft, is that Jane's says the tail unit is "All-wood ... or all-metal ... ". Could be a change of construction in production aircraft. Any info on these issues very welcome.TSRL (talk) 21:06, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
