Update to reflect guilty in coke posession

[edit]

Weird that this is protected. But the bit about his personal life needs to be updated to reflect that Trey plead guilty to coke posession — Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.192.165.8 (talk) 17:19, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Done I have updated the article accordingly, and added a citation. As for the semi-protection, it's not odd at all. If you look at the page history, you will see that there were more than a few offensive edits after his arrest, and Wikipedia's Biographies of Living Persons policy requires that we maintain a neutral tone. An encyclopedia article is not the place to make snide comments about anyone, but we are more watchful over articles for living people, especially those who are in the news for scandalous incidents. Tea party

[edit]

Why do we need a claim of "Tea Party aligned" in the lead? Niteshift36 (talk) 02:59, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think we do either. The lead is supposed to introduce and summarize the most important aspects. A throwaway line in an article doesn't justify placement in the lead. There's no mention of the Tea Party anywhere in the body of the article. If it's important, there should be more to support it than that. - Maximusveritas (talk) 15:48, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
