Reassessing (December 2023)[edit]

Fischer spent a decade as director of the Institute of Social and Economic Research and his name is found on much research from that period, so I added the science and academic work group of WP Biography. More importantly, the C rating added in November was totally unearned. The most glaring problem is sourcing, as the present article is poorly sourced relative to the breadth of available sources. We're talking about someone who was the subject of attention from reliable sources for over 70 years. You're going to reward editors for reflecting minimal results from a cursory Google search following his death with a C rating? The timing of this article's creation is an insult in itself, never mind that. There's also a matter of appropriate weight. His life as a whole has been pretty well documented by sources, yet this article dwells a little too much on a few particular things. I've noticed a group of editors who show up at biographical articles following the subject's death and reduce its biographical value. Am I supposed to believe that it's worthy of a C rating simply because of its word count?

The Kool-Aid drinkers who have pushed WP:PIQA down everyone's throats have yet to satisfy my concerns about unearned B and C assessments based solely on how an article was prettied up, and how PIQA will only make that worse.
