Copyright Violation
[edit]I, Steven J. Walker, husband of candidate Vicki Walker, have permission to publish articles regarding the candidacy of Vicki Walker for Governor of Oregon, from walkerforgovernor.com. Steven J. Walker User:12.7.120.9 19:11, November 15, 2005
- First off, the article should be done by someone who is more neutral in relation to State Senator Walker's candidacy. Second of all, the copyright violation is a serious issue. I would strongly urge you to read and follow Wikipedia rules before you edit or create articles.
- I am a native Oregonian and have been working for a few months on writing articles about the Governor's Race for next year. If you look at my user page I have written articles or revised the content of articles for many different issues and candidates. The articles are unbiased regardless of my person political beliefs. I try to find information from as many different reliable sources as I can.
- I strongly urge you to refrain from posting direct information about your wife's campaign on Wikipedia. As a person who has worked on political campaigns, I realize the need to get information out there, but the information your providing is biased. Please let myself or someone else write an article that will leave the perception of the article up to the reader themselves. If you have questions, feel free to leave them on my talk page. Davidpdx 03:36, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
- Just a footnote, I emailed these comments to Senator Walker's campaign via her website to make them aware of possible violations Wikipedia rules. Davidpdx 03:48, 27 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit]Another note, I have started to write an article to replace the current one. I should be done within the next two days and will place it on the temporary page as the directions state. Davidpdx 15:46, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
I finished the replacement article which can be found here Vicki Walker/Temp. Please let me know when it is posted. Thanks... Davidpdx 10:36, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
I wrote this article to replace the one that was posted and flagged as a copyright violation. I have no connection to State Senator Vicki Walker's campaign and have emailed them and ask them not to modify the article about her anymore.
