Article name

[edit]

I have moved this article from WPBT-TV to WPBT. Consensus on both WP:NC#Broadcasting and Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Television_Stations#Article_names is that the article name should reflect the actual call letters of the TV station. As can be seen here: [1] the call letters for this station are in fact WPBT. Any concerns regarding this topic would be best addressed here: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Television_Stations. —A 22:54, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Shared time with WTHS: history?

[edit]

According to the reference originally given, it was implied that WPBT and WTHS shared time with each other since signing on in 1955 until 1979. However, it was not until the late-1960s when the two stations began sharing the same frequency -- I have a 1962 TV Guide (Southern Florida edition) that lists only WTHS, not WTHS and WPBT separately or even "WPBT/WTHS". The reference originally used here makes no mention of the station's past history. Could anyone find a page that includes the history of both stations (other than WPBT's official site, which does not mention WTHS at all)? -- azumanga (talk) 19:01, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
