Motor sports venue

[edit]

Wasn't Wellesbourne Airfield a motor sport venue in the 1960's? Rupertlt (talk) 15:29, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

According to "http://www.wellesbourneairfield.com/history.htm" and "http://www.bbc.co.uk/ww2peopleswar/stories/07/a4376207.shtml" between 1965 and 1981 the site was used for vehicle testing by Rootes Motors Ltd, Coventry and a number of different groups occupied the site for uses like microlighting. Possible merge with RAF Wellesbourne Mountford

[edit]

Would it be a good idea to merge this article with RAF Wellesbourne Mountford? Meaning to put the RAF article as an history section within this page.

If there are no objections i will change this article (which will include minor re-shuffling) on Sunday 25th March 2012 and request the deletion of RAF Wellesbourne Mountford after said date. Gavbadger (talk) 00:54, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
