[edit]Wonder if William Jarrett (1814-1880) is related? Sailed on Charles Wilkes' voyage and clerked for Robert Crichton Wyllie.

I found William H. Jarrett died January 25, 1903 born something like 1854, was this one's father. Could be missing link. I did find from Bergin's book on Parker ranch: Emma Stevens father was whaler Captain Charles Stevens, and mother was Kealiiwahamana (Hawaiian). William Jarrett had a brother known as Paul Lapaʻula Jarrett who managed Parker Ranch in 1888.
