Talk:Zork: Grand Inquisitor

[edit]I have removed the link to the german version of this article. It was utter nonsense.--88.66.14.62 20:20, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
A gift to Zork fans...
[edit]Zork Grand Inquisitor contains easter eggs. I'll list two:
WHOAMI - A take on the Unix command, a tribute to everything command line based
MIKESPANTS - A running joke about the lead programmer's striped pants. Every day we would draw a cartoon on the white board depicting Mike's pants in odd situations.
You will have to go try them to see what they do! ;-)
More trivia:
At around the time that we were creating the game, the first generation of Mars rovers were roaming around Mars and sending back panoramic images. I found that these images fit nicely into ZGI's panoramic display system. We even hid some Mars images in the game itself.
The game was to be one of the first games released to take advantage of DVD.

I'd like to say hello to all the people I worked with on this great game. I hope you are all doing well!

- How fun that you helped design that game! Neat of you to check in, with your insider's tips : ) 69.198.205.2 (talk) 18:15, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
More easter eggs
[edit]If I can remember correctly, wasn't there also "Eatme" and "Killmenow". The first one had to be done near the skeleton in Hades, and the second one could be done anywhere (I think). Slightly unrelated, but Nemesis had "Hello Sailor" too!
Also, thank you to everyone who made this game. Any chance of another one? ;)

Mir Yannick merge
[edit]The article Mir Yannick contains no out-of-universe information and doesn't support a separate article. From reading it, it seems he is part of the plot of this game, and should be merged into this article. Pagrashtak 20:38, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
AFGNCAAP
[edit]Why the heck does AFGNCAAP redirect here? It has absolutely nothing to do with this article, or it least it is not apparent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kevinmon (talk • contribs) 04:40, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
- Read the Plot section. Kevin (talk) 08:18, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

I've moved the above files here from the main article space until they can be sorted out. Most of them won't be needed and should be deleted, but one or two could be illustrative in the article, and should be fine under fair-use laws. — Quoth (talk) 21:55, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
