Talsi (ⓘ; Template:Lang-liv, Template:Lang-de) (population 12,879) is a town in Latvia. It is the center of Talsi municipality.
Talsi
Talsi - known as 'The Town of Nine Hills' - perches above two lakes. Talsi's history is in its calm, cobbled streets and in its well-preserved parks, which feature cherry and apple tree gardens.
The ancient Curonian hill fort is in the heart of Talsi, and standing atop it affords a panorama of the whole town. Talsians enjoy walking, dancing and singing in different cultural events. In the summer months, Sauleskaln's open-air scene becomes the center of local life, where there are many different concerts and events.
