Bats of Canada[edit]

  • ... that for all species of bats of Canada, there have been five recorded cases of bat to human rabies transmission since 1925?

  • The article is long enough, its date looks good, and it has sufficient in-line citations. The hook is sourced reliably (though you use the term "careless" in the article, which is absent from the source). For the article I'd advise amplifying the lead and perhaps adding another image or two, but that is just a recommendation. The hook looks good to go. Ruby 2010/2013 06:21, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
The source does use "careless"; see the last point in the section "What is bat rabies?" of Bat Rabies: The Facts. However, I just noticed that the paraphrasing is much too close on that sentence, so I'll change it. I'll certainly improve the introduction, which is quite weak, and I agree that another image or two (which I've now added) would be beneficial. Mindmatrix 15:18, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
Ah, you are correct. Not sure how I missed that one (I'll blame the late hour). Nice work, Ruby 2010/2013 16:26, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
Thank you! I still have a few things to add to the article...sometime soon. Aside: you should use {{subst:DYK?}} instead of the tick mark if the QPQ is not yet completed. Mindmatrix 16:53, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
