Bones (bull)[edit]

  • ... that the owner of World Champion bucking bull Bones exercised him in a mechanized circular walker in a deep sand pit? Source: footnote 11 in article -- One of the most interesting ways that Teague exercised Bones was in a circular sand pit that he had made, where he installed a type of hot walker sometimes used for horses. [1]
    • ALT1:... that World Champion bucking bull Bones was named after being described as a "bag of bones" as a 10-month-old calf? Source: Footnote 1 in article -- Bones got his name when one of Tom Teague's workers described him as a "bag of bones" upon arrival. [2]
  • Comment: This is my first DYK.

  • It's definitely new enough to mainspace (time in sandbox doesn't count) and no copyvio is detected. The sourcing is good for this kind of article and it's also plenty long enough. Article is neutral and either of the hooks is interesting. Both are cited. White Arabian Filly Neigh 20:29, 7 May 2017 (UTC)
