Article in new enough, long enough , and within policy; but with some formatting issues. I believe the article title should have a lowercase s and not a capitol S. [i.e. Cello sonatas (Vivaldi) ] as the article is about all of his cello sonatas and not just the published set of six. If I am correct, the article should be moved accordingly, and the hook should use all lower case letters ("cello sonatas"). Additionally, the music names in the "music" section need to italicized. The hook fact is verifiable, but not very interesting. I think we can do better with content already in the article. Gerda Arendt, might I suggest you write an alt hook based either on the content about Benedetto Marcello or the "pasticcios from earlier compositions". Either of those facts seem hookier to me, and more likely to peek reader interest.4meter4 (talk) 23:19, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for the review! I'll move the article, sigh. There will be redirects such as Cello Sonata No. 1 (Vivaldi), which I find a bit strange. I'll explain (repeating) that I am no friend of hookiness - saying little to make curious for the article - because I know that millions click the Main page, but only a few hundred will actually go to a classical music article, so I want to say more for the many who won't click:
- I didn't know that Vivaldi composed cello sonatas. Period. Bias: violin. (I didn't know until part of one came as a surprise gift on my birthday, pictured on my talk.)
- I didn't know that Vivaldi composed for private customers abroad. Bias: for girls in a Venice orphanage.
- I didn't know that a Paris publisher made money with six of them without sharing with the composer. Today, that would be copyright violation, - no idea how that theft of intellectual property would have been called then.
Therefore, I'd prefer to go for a sharpening of that aspect, rather than introduce little-known Marcello, or pasticcio which many did at the time, - just think of Bach's masses including the B minor. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:06, 16 July 2021 (UTC)

The movement/tempo names were there before I expanded, and I see no urgency to change them, clearly visible as such without confusion as not within prose. I'll think about shortening saying they are all more or less the same, - waste of space. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:12, 16 July 2021 (UTC)

I like hook alt2 which clarifies that Vivaldi was not involved in the Paris publication, and makes the hook more interesting. Thank you for fixing the article title, I can live with non-italicization in the music section.4meter4 (talk) 14:41, 16 July 2021 (UTC)

All essential issues have been fixed. Approving hook Alt2 which is supported by inline citation to the online source. The article has no close paraphrasing and is within policy. The expansion is more than 5xs and is new enough. Nice work Gerda! 4meter4 (talk) 14:45, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
