Günter Kehr
- ... that Günter Kehr, violinist and director of the Peter Cornelius Conservatory from 1953, founded the Kehr Trio (pictured) with two students, touring in the Americas and the Near East? Source: several + the pic
- Reviewed:
to come - Comment: his centenary is on 16 March - the woman on the pic was an empress then, but I find it hard to mention that in hook or caption, help welcome!

- Created seven days before nom, prose is 2666B, everything is verifiable. I AGF the NYT and others. @Gerda Arendt: your QPQ please? Also the Earwig won't load. ミラP 17:45, 22 February 2020 (UTC)

- @Gerda Arendt: You're welcome. But the Earwig problem still stands. ミラP 18:37, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
- No problem for a hook planned for 16 March. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:47, 22 February 2020 (UTC)

- Right now, Earwig's tool ran for me: Earwig results The first result shows 28.6%, but highlights common phrases and titles that can't be avoided. The rest of the results are very low, with some of them showing Zero Percent. — Maile (talk) 21:55, 24 February 2020 (UTC)
- based on Miraclepine's review, Maile66's copyvios evaluation and the QPQ provided. AGF on German-language sources. feminist (talk) 15:39, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but I don't see an inline cite for the fact that he founded the trio. The sources just verify what pieces they played. Yoninah (talk) 17:19, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- Problem is that sources will give you 1948 as the year of foundation, see? Obviously, that's wrong, looking at concert dates. What can we do? Other hook wording? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:28, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- We just need to cite the fact that he founded it. The year can be put in a separate clause without a cite. Yoninah (talk) 17:30, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- You mean, I should use the cite to say he founded it, send readers to that 1948, and then say something different the next sentence? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:41, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- Actually, I don't understand what's going on in the article. In the lead you say he founded it in 1948. In the body you say he founded it in the 1940s, and that the trio played somewhere in 1946. It seems like the 1948 figure doesn't belong in the lead at all. Yoninah (talk) 17:50, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- What's going on is that first I translate, including the 1948, and then find it's wrong but don't realize it's also in the lead. Sorry, will fix, but then have rehearsal for a few hours. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:06, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- Yoninah, back from rehearsal, I found no solution. All sources say he founded the trio in 1948, but their playing in 1946 is also well documented. Not before 1946 though. What should we do? Say nothing about founding but just that they played at the Darmstädter Ferienkurse (the cradle of contemporary music in Germany) and in Tehran? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:53, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt: yes, that sounds like a good solution. When and if more sourcing is available for the start date, it can be added. Yoninah (talk) 22:59, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- ALT1: ... that Günter Kehr played violin in the Kehr Trio, a string trio that performed at the Darmstädter Ferienkurse in the 1950s, and in the Marble Palace in Tehran in 1965 (pictured)? - Looks like I will have to write the Darmstadt article, because where the redirect goes is not the same thing. Ref for that "first" to follow, can't be hard, but I need sleep. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:09, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- Yoninah, I began the article now, and sourced that it was the first. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:29, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
- Soryy, my mistake, I misread the program, - mislead by the header 1946, but it actually covers several concerts, and the concerts were in 1950 and 1951. Adding the source for founding in 1948, - we could even return to the original hook.
