Isabel Leighton

Created by Whitsunderland (talk). Self-nominated at 02:30, 12 January 2022 (UTC).

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
Image: Image is freely licensed, used in the article, and clear at 100px.
QPQ: Done.

Overall: QPQ not neccessary as it is the editor's first nomination. Article is new enough and long enough, neutral and plagiarism free and it is thoroughly referenced (apart from one - if you could just add a reference there that would be great). Hook is OK, but I wonder if there's something a bit hookier to catch attention? Maybe something that reflects her really wide range of interests? It was really interesting to read about her extraordinary life - thanks for the work you've done to share her life! Lajmmoore (talk) 10:04, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

Just a ping @Whitsunderland: as it's really easy to miss DYK things Lajmmoore (talk) 09:52, 16 January 2022 (UTC)
  • Nominator hasn't edited since the day of the nomination and didn't respond to Lajmmoore's talk page message on January 29th. If the nominator doesn't return, hopefully someone can adopt the nomination because it would be a shame if the nom has to be failed. @Narutolovehinata5 and Lajmmoore: give me a few minutes and I'll finish it up, I think. SusunW (talk) 18:26, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
Okay, what I found is that her papers (which date is confirmed by passport records) show her birth date. A newspaper clipping says she grew up in society and was a debutante. I think that takes care of the uncited stuff. Ping me if you need anything else. As for a hook, possibly: SusunW (talk) 19:05, 1 February 2022 (UTC)

Thanks so much SusunW, and thank you for the ALT. It's a good to go from me! Lajmmoore (talk) 19:25, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
