- ...

- Comment: I didn't include an alternate hook because I think that is really the most interesting thing about the game - how pared-down it is compared to other city-builders, and I didn't want to do a "quoted-from-review" hook.

- Hi, thanks for the review. I've fixed the Twitter citation. I was only a couple hours over into August 10 going by my timezone, and I only finished writing the article on August 3 anyway, so IMO it's not that big a deal (and DYK is deliberately not strict about that).
ALT1: ... that minimalist city-building game Islanders deliberately omits most features common to the genre, such as resource accumulation and technology research?- ALT2: ... that minimalist city-building game Islanders deliberately omits features such as resource accumulation and technology research in order to focus on the core building placement mechanic?
- Here's two possible alts with a little more detail. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 04:33, 17 August 2019 (UTC)

- @Premeditated Chaos: I think that ALT2 works as the best hook. It is detailed and is interesting. What do you think? AmericanAir88(talk) 19:54, 17 August 2019 (UTC)
