- I am not planning to review this nomination, but I have to note that the nominator is not exempt from QPQ. While they currently have four DYK credits, they have already made more than five DYK nominations. As such, they must do a QPQ for this nomination to pass. - As another comment, given that "greenhorn" may be jargon and thus not understandable to be many readers, it may be better to change that term to something like "first-term legislators" or "first-term members of the Punjab Legislative Assembly". In fact, I'd suggest that "members of the legislative assembly" be added to the first mention of MLA in the article since it's not immediately clear what the abbreviation means, especially to non-Indian readers.
- I dont have 5 DYKs, the rule is clear. Greenhorn is an interesting and common word that raises curiosity. It is in headline of Express. I will expand MLA as you suggested. Venkat TL (talk) 12:40, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
- Personally I know what "greenhorn" means but I have reservations if most readers do. We usually don't like using technical or niche terms on DYK wherever possible in favor of using easier-to-understand language. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 12:44, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
- Greenhorn is not a technical term. Venkat TL (talk) 09:04, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
- It is, however, a term that may not be understandable to many readers. I guessed what it means, but it is certainly not a term used in my country to refer to legislators and I'm fairy sure that applies to many other countries as well. Black Kite (talk) 11:21, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
- Black Kite, ok. I have already added ALTs if the reviewers feel that way. Venkat TL (talk) 11:25, 12 April 2022 (UTC)

- the Reviewed bullet says "Done, although Exempt"—the QPQ link needs to be in that line to verify. (also, it's not like the promotion of the fifth article automatically means you have 5 DYK credits and need to do a qpq, but I'm not going to promote this if I have to pull it once you get 5 and now need a QPQ for this one. So, functionally, you need a QPQ.) theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/they) 17:38, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
- Time is in short supply and there are more than one DYK nom waiting a review. Whichever nom gets reviewed first and is held only due to the QPQ will get that link. I am not expecting you to promote this wihout a review. As of now this is "waiting for a review". Venkat TL (talk) 17:46, 12 April 2022 (UTC)

- QPQ done. Review:
- Article was expanded 5x within the week before nomination, and has 4827 characters of prose. Referencing and tone are fine. Please put the first tables' references in its header since they cover the whole table.
- Hook fact is present and cited in the article. wikt:greenhorn is attention-getting, but some countries may consider it rude (hence Black Kite's comment). I'll let the promoter choose.
