- @Anypodetos: This has been sitting around for a long time, so I thought I'd give it a look, but there are a couple of issues. It was newly 5x expanded at the time of nomination, and is free of copyvio or neutrality concerns. The hook statement is accurate and sourced. However, since this is a medical article on a topic of recent interest (the drug was just approved by the FDA a few months ago) that is a candidate for the main page, it's worth being very careful. There is a comment on the talk page pointing to review sources not currently used in the article. Two sources that are used are in German, one not online - this was recently approved in the US and is not approved in Europe, so it should be possible to use English-language sources here. Also, there is one statement in the article - "Such a condition needs other kinds of treatment..." - that is not cited in this article (though the claim is not controversial, and there are sources cited in the linked articles that would be suitable). IMO replacing the German sources (should be easy given they are used for fairly straightforward facts) and citing the remaining sentence is sufficient for a DYK - adding the review articles would be a good idea, but since FDA information is cited, I think it's fair to leave that for later if you prefer. - Done. Thanks for the review. I don't have access to the paywalled papers, but I think the important information from the two free ones is included now. --ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 10:41, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- BTW, I re-added my own hook (now the first one) because I think it sounds snappier / more surprising than the edited one (now ALT1). --ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 16:08, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- @Anypodetos: Looks good! On the hook, though - I do like the original version better, but the grammar is confusing; the first version says the drug is not absorbed and the second says the potassium is not absorbed (as much). If you mean the first, how about
- Also, I'm pretty sure I have access to all of the paywalled papers; send me an email if you want any of them. Opabinia regalis (talk) 19:55, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- I see your point. ALT2 would suit me fine. Also, thanks for offering me access to the papers; not sure how soon I'll have time for expanding the article, but I'll try. --ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 21:49, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- for ALT2. If you get time give me a ping :) Opabinia regalis (talk) 00:48, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
