Walnut Creek (Raccoon River tributary)
- ... that the tributary Walnut Creek in Iowa was named for the black walnut trees which once lined the creek before early settlers cleared them?

- Hi SL93, review follows: article just exceeds minimum length (I count 1527 characters); article 5x expanded from 30 October; article is cited inline throughout to what appear to be reliable sources; I didn't find any overly close parpahrasing of the sources in a spotcheck; hook is interesting, mentioned in the article and checks out to the source cited; a QPQ has been carried out. Looks fine to me - Dumelow (talk) 08:16, 31 October 2021 (UTC)
