May I ask - why can't the tables in this template just be added directly to the Tournament History section in the article on the Sri Lankan team (as is the case with most other articles on national cricket teams)? This template holds a lot of information and content, adding what is here to the main article will increase the size of the page, amount needed to scroll and the chances of making mistakes. Also it stops from random ip users from vandalising.--Blackknight12 (talk) 05:25, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
