Extraneous full stop with all_writing[edit]

Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good! being just one of many examples. Can we please get rid of the one after the ref? Mac Dreamstate (talk) 19:34, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Done and documented. Module editors should feel free to implement this change in a more sophisticated way if desired. This will probably cause many articles to be missing their terminal punctuation, so this change might be controversial, but as the module was written, there was no good way to include a reference at the end of the sentence. – Jonesey95 (talk) 15:46, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Period[edit]

Why is there no period generated by |all_music=? InfiniteNexus (talk) 06:52, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Because it usually implies that |all_lyrics= will be used as well, and this would require it to be followed by a comma. Richard3120 (talk) 20:43, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Then the template should be adjusted to recognize if |all_lyrics= is being used, and if not, automatically add a period. InfiniteNexus (talk) 23:00, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Pseudo-splitting total length[edit]

I've never seen this done with total_length=. Not really feeling it. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 19:49, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Leave blanking only for interlude as uncredited songwriters/producers[edit]

I suddenly thinking about leave blanking only for interlude as uncredited songwriters/producers as seen on All for You (Janet Jackson album)#Track_listing. Has anyone comments? 113.210.105.214 (talk) 16:52, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In my opinion, all credited songwriters on any track should appear in track listings on Wikipedia. SaltieChips (talk) 16:38, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why present tense?[edit]

Re The value for this parameter is preceded by "All tracks are written by " or "All lyrics are written by " or "All music is composed by ", depending on the parameter that is used. Provide terminal punctuation and any references in the parameter value, if desired., why "is" and not "was"? Largoplazo (talk) 15:51, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
