WikiProject Charismatic Christianity/Evangelical Christianity

[edit]
Edit symbol
WikiProject Charismatic Christianity:
New : Chama pentecoste.svg
Add:
WikiProject Evangelical Christianity:
Ichthys.svg
-Chama pentecoste.svg is the new symbol of WikiProject Charismatic Christianity since 1 year.
-Ichthys.svg is the symbol of French portal Evangelical Christianity since 2014 and other portals and Wikiprojects (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian). Thanks. --ServB1 (talk) 23:00, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@ServB1:  Not done: please make your requested changes to the template's sandbox first; see WP:TESTCASES. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 23:28, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Redrose64: It is done. If possible to update please. Thank you.--ServB1 (talk) 13:44, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Not done for now: there is no support for TF_11 in the template. You can add more by loading another hook. Let me know if you need help with this. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 14:04, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hello MSGJ (talk · contribs). It is done. Thanks for your help. --ServB1 (talk) 15:52, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure what you meant by "it is done". I have now edited the /sandbox to avoid using TF_11. If that looks okay, we can deploy? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 19:35, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hello MSGJ (talk · contribs). It is excellent, yes. Thanks for your help. --ServB1 (talk) 13:49, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Evangelical Christianity

[edit]

Hello, when I use these parameters : |evangelical-christianity= |evangelical-importance= , the "importance" is not working. Can you check it ? Telikalive (talk) 12:37, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The correct name of the second parameter is |evangelical christianity-importance=. – Jonesey95 (talk) 13:04, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Jonesey95 and ServB1: Thank you ! and sorry, I havn't seen it in the documentation. But it was there. ---Telikalive (talk) 13:21, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  1. At "|TF_10_IMAGE = Justice and law.svg" could you replace "Justice and law.svg" by "Scale of justice, canon law.svg"? The "Scale of justice, canon law.svg" image fits better and is already being used for Template talk:Catholic canon law, Template:RC-canon-law-stub, and Template:WikiProject Catholicism.
  2. At "|TF_10_NAME = Canon law task force" could you replace "Canon law task force" with "Catholic canon law task force"?

Veverve (talk) 20:07, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The image is a trivial change but do you have consensus to change the name everywhere (and/or is that the current name)? Changing it here will change the link on all WikiProject banners. Izno (talk) 23:50, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Izno: I do not have consensus, I will make a RfC later and will ask for another edit if I have a consensus in favour of the change. As for my other request, could you change the image? Veverve (talk) 18:36, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I do not think an RFC will be necessary, just ask the question at the relevant WikiProject and/or task force talk pages. I'll do the other. --Izno (talk) 19:04, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Izno: I made an RfC and nobody opposed. So can you do the second change now? Veverve (talk) 13:50, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

At "|TF_2_IMAGE = CopticCross.jpg" change "CopticCross.jpg" to "Coptic cross.svg"
It is the SVG version of the image, so it is better; the SVG version is already in use at Template:WikiProject Oriental Orthodoxy. Veverve (talk) 11:52, 12 March 2021 (UTC) Veverve (talk) 11:52, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

|TF_1_NESTED = Eastern
change to
|TF_1_NESTED = Eastern O.

Reason: so that when the template is in the WikiProjectBannerShell, the reader does not think the article concerns Eastern Christianity but sees at a glance it concerns Eastern Orthodoxy. Veverve (talk) 16:00, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

1) |TF_6_IMAGE = Luthseal.gif
to
|TF_6_IMAGE = Lutherrose.svg
The image File:Lutherrose.svg is of way better quality, and is used almost everywhere, e.g. at c:Template:Evangelisch-Lutherische Dekanate in Bavaria and Template:WikiProject Lutheranism.

2) |TF_2_NESTED = Oriental
to
|TF_2_NESTED = Oriental O.
So that the reader is more likely to know the workforce on Oriental Orthodoxy is concerned. Also, it is to be consistent with |TF_1_NESTED = Eastern O. Veverve (talk) 00:41, 20 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

|TF_2_IMAGE = ChristianitySymbolWhite.PNG
to
|TF_2_IMAGE = ChristianitySymbolWhite.svg
An SVG version (File:ChristianitySymbolWhite.svg) is better than a raster graphics version. Veverve (talk) 10:22, 20 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

|TF_10_ASSESSMENT_CAT= Canon Law articles
|TF_10_MAIN_CAT = Canon Law articles
to
|TF_10_ASSESSMENT_CAT= Catholic canon law articles
|TF_10_MAIN_CAT = Catholic canon law articles
-
|TF_10_NESTED = Canon Law
to
|TF_10_NESTED = Cath. canon law

Reason: it is not a parameter which redirects to a project which would focus on Canon law in all its forms; it is a parameter which redirects to the Catholic canon law Task Force. Also, the capital letter at "Law" is not justified. Moreover, "|TF_10_NAME" already displays "Catholic canon law task force" so it makes things more consistent.
I will request a speedy technical category move for categories which depend on TF_10_ASSESSMENT_CAT and TF_10_MAIN_CAT once this change is made, e.g. Category:Start-Class Canon Law articles.
I feel doing those changes is implementing the decision taken 10 years ago. Veverve (talk) 06:14, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

change the two instances of

|TF_10_LINK = Wikipedia:WikiProject Catholicism/Canon law Task Force

to

|TF_10_LINK = Wikipedia:WikiProject Catholicism/Catholic canon law task force

I make this request because the task force was recently renamed.

Presbyterianism should be field

[edit]

I wanted to include "presbyterianism" in the template on a Talk page, and discovered there is not a field for that. Could it be added, please? Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 13:23, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
