The Highlands is a retail park in Triadelphia, West Virginia, 7 miles east of the city of Wheeling. It opened in August 2004 with the only Cabela's within a 5-hour distance.[1] Eventually it featured a J.C. Penney, Kohl's, Target and Walmart as anchor tenants. It also contains over 80 shops, restaurants, services, and attractions such as Bath & Body Works, Books-A-Million, dressbarn, Justice, Lane Bryant, Old Navy, rue21, and The Shoe Dept. With over 1 million square feet of retail space, it is the largest shopping complex in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia.

The mall is owned and operated by its developer, the Ohio County Development Authority. It is located at Cabela Drive (Exit 10) off Interstate 70.

Current plans are to develop the Highlands into a destination location for the tri-state region.

Dining

The Highlands is home to nearly 20 restaurants, featuring such names as Five Guys, Texas Roadhouse, Applebee's, Eat 'n Park, Olive Garden, Primanti Brothers, and Quaker Steak and Lube.
