Tokha is a municipality in the Central development region of Kathmandu District in the Bagmati Zone of Nepal. The new municipality was formed by merging five existing villages — Dhapasi, Jhor Mahankal, Gonggabu, Tokha Chandeswori and Tokha Sarswoti — on 02 Dec 2014.[1][2] The office of the municipality is Greenland of the former Tokha Chandeswori village development committee.

Population

Tokha municipality is formed by merging Dhapasi, Jhor Mahankal, Gonggabu, Tokha Chandeswori and Tokha Sarswoti, it has a total population of 99,032 according to 2011 Nepal census.[3]
