"Travellin' Light" is a UK No. 1 single[2] recorded by Cliff Richard and The Shadows. It remained at No. 1 for five weeks, and was the chart topper when the first sections of the M1 motorway were officially opened.[1] It sold 1,600,000 copies worldwide. "Travellin' Light" was also a Number 1 hit in Ireland and Norway. It was Richard's last single of the 1950s, and his second No. 1 in England.
