Chekneh (Persian: چكنه)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Sarvelayat District of Nishapur County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[4]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 1,363 in 421 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,834 people in 472 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 1,381 people in 440 households.[2]
