"That's Where You Take Me" is the seventh and final single off the 2001 album Britney, by American Pop singer Britney Spears. The song was written by Brian Kierulf, Josh Schwartz, and Spears herself. Kierulf and Schwartz produced the track as well. Similar to "Anticipating", "I Love Rock 'n' Roll", and "Born To Make You Happy", this song was not released in all countries or in the U.S. "That's Where You Take Me" was exclusively released in the Philippines, in 2003. It is said that it charted at number 3 and number 1 on radio airplay in the Philippines.

Music video

[edit]

A music video was not filmed. They did, however, create a video of footage from Britney's 'Dream Within A Dream Tour', rehearsals for her 2001 MTV VMAs performance, photoshoot, backstage, and so on. The single is enhanced with the video of the song[1]. However, the music video of this track was charted at number 3 in the Philippines.

Discussion

[edit]

"That's Where You Take Me" (along with "Anticipating") has been a topic of discussion in many blogs, Britney boards, and here on Wikipedia. Many believe it to be either a promo single or not a single at all. Though many Spears fans claim to have the single and watched the video, it is still not enough for some. Until Britney, Jive, or a member of her personnel confirm or deny the status of the song, will this be resolved. Until then, "That's Where You Take Me" will remain the only Britney single article which require more citations than any other single.
