I am an 18 year old English female from Brighton. My date of birth is May 10th, 1988.

My pseudonym is derived from the Latin name of Eris, the ancient Greek goddess of strife, and Discordian goddess of chaos. It is also a word play on the words chord and discord, referring to dissonance.

I am employed as a Quality Assurance Technician, and am responsible for the testing of software for mobile telephone handsets. I have been an employee of Babel Media since March 2005.

I like to contribute to Wikipedia wherever I can. In particular, I aim to fix minor errors in spelling and grammar whenever I come across them in an article, whatever the subject. I also enjoy contributing to stubs and articles which are based on subjects which I am interested in.

My hobbies and interests include music, gothic and industrial subculture, Visual Kei, EMB, Heavy Metal, sewing, illustration, manga, anime, video games, science fiction, horror movies, body modification, costume design, corsetry, Japan, geisha, Elegant Gothic Lolita (EGL), steampunk, mythology, martial arts, fantasy literature, the Internet, web design, photography, psychology, and philosophy. I consider myself a gamer, and am particularly fond of MMORPG games such as World of Warcraft and Guild Wars, as well as RPG games such as Dungeons & Dragons and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.
