Early life and education[edit]
John Andrew Brighton Jr. was born on 14 March 1996 in Golcar, Huddersfield, United Kingdom. [1] He was adopted at LaGuardia Airport from Leeds Bradford Airport on 27 June 1996 as John Brighton Holz. He then moved to Bay Shore, New York and attended Bay Shore High School. Brighton then went to St. Joseph's University in Patchogue, New York.
Career[edit]
Brighton began working as a DJ and a musician at Caffeine Academy in Babylon, New York in 2017, [2] where he met his friends Robert Dickerson, Max That, Tom Chatalbash, and Lacey Tombline. Brighton started working on his YouTube channel with his former co-owner, Robert Dickerson who resigned in August 2023. He then got a new co-owner with his producer, Tom Chatalbash later that month, who started working as his producer in March 2023. Brighton later then found Lacey Tombline, who started working as his graphics designer in May 2023.
Quizinos and Sweeties[edit]
The most iconic video he did with Tom and Lacey was “Quizinos and Sweeties” on his channel, Life of John. [3] What Lacey meant to say, was Quiznos and Smarties, but ended up saying Quizinos and Sweeties, hence the title of the video. She also previously said that the Pay Day bar looked like corn on the cob. Tom then said, “Look, this isn’t Quizinos,” that Lacey mentioned earlier that video and in the previous video.
