Sarothi News (Bengali: সারথী নিউজ) is the Bangladesh's and or [world]]'s first voluntary online news platform which is published from Dhaka in both Bengali language and English language. Sarothi News promotes the work of volunteers and or voluntary organizations news all over Bangladesh.

[edit]Sarothi News started their journey on the occasion of the father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman's 100 Birthday, 17 March 2020.' Sarothi News operates business in the unique and time demanded online office modality. The operation plan is distributed to 8 divisions with Regional leads, 64 Districts with District Lead as well as Upzilla Lead, Union Representatives. A part of this Sarothi has more than 3 departments like Admin and HR, Business Pursuit and Communication. All the positions of each department are voluntary. But they will get the voluntary honorarium, a commission from advertisement collection and from events. Sarorhi's vision is to publish changemakers (volunteers/volunteering organizations) news from rural to corporate and appreciate their activity also encourage for future. And Sarothi's Mission is to engage youth in the journalism profession and create employment.
What Sarothi Mean
[edit]Sarothi English meaning Charioteer. Bangali meaning who support people with the same profession / colleague. Sarothi News Publish voluntary news and who publish the news he/she is a volunteer. So, we promote peer to peer support machanism in Sarothi News.

[edit]Since its founding in 2020,[update] Ahmed Al Kabir is the Founder & Chief Editor. He is the social activist since 2014. He served his social service time in different organizations and NGO's. He founded an social organization named Sopner Baksho Foundation. For social working background, he has change to participate Commonwealth Head of Government meeting, 2018 in London, UK. [2]
