Mubasshir Qasmi

Mubasshir Qasmi (Urdu: مبشر قاسمی‎) is an Indian Islamic scholar, educator and author of many Islamic books. He is a scholar of Naqshbandi order, a major Sunni spiritual order of Sufism. With BAMCEF and Waman Meshram, he initiated various activism initiatives, primarily for right of minorities of India.

Early life

He received his education in his hometown, graduating from Darul Uloom Deoband, English language from Al- Mahadul- Aali Al- Islami, Hyderabad branch of MMERC (Markazul Maarif Education and Research Centre) Later he studied at Islamic University of Madinah.

Mehmood A Madani (born 3 March 1964) is an Indian politician and he was elected to the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Parliament of India as a member of the Rashtriya Lok Dal from Uttar Pradesh. He is the general secretary of the Muslim organisation Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind.
