  • A red team placement indicates that the team was eliminated.
  • A green ƒ indicates that the team won a Fast forward.
  • A purple ε indicates that the team used an Express Pass on that leg to bypass one of their tasks.
  • A brown ⊃ or a cyan ⋑ indicates that the team chose to or successfully voted to use one of the two U-Turns in a Double U-Turn; or indicates the team who received it;
    indicates that the team was U-Turned, but they used the second U-Turn on another team.
  • An underlined leg number indicates there was no mandatory rest period at the Pit Stop, and all teams were ordered to continue racing. An underlined team placement indicates that the team came in last, was ordered to continue racing, and didn't have to perform a Speed Bump in the next leg.
  • An underlined blue placement indicates the team came in last on a non-elimination leg and had to perform a Speed Bump during the next leg.
Notes
  1. ^ Valerie & Beatrice finished in 6th place but took a taxi to the Pit Stop instead of going on foot as stated on the clue. They were told to go back to the route info and walk to the Pit Stop. Two teams checked in during this time, dropping them to 8th.
  2. ^ Eion & Joshua could not complete the Mastery of Art Detour before the studio closed and decided to take the 4-hour penalty for quitting the Detour. After Gloria & Eliza checked in, they were told to proceed to the Pit Stop, where they were eliminated.
  3. ^ Davis & Samantha used the Express Pass they won in an unaired task in Leg 2 to bypass the Roadblock in Leg 5, they gave the second pass to Sunny & Kevin who used it on the Detour the leg before. In a post-race interview, Samantha said she elected to perform the Roadblock, which is reflected in the total Roadblock count.
  4. ^ Davis & Samantha & Neng Yang & Neng Wei arrived 1st & 4th respectively but incurred a 30-min penalty for quitting the jamu task. Shuang Han & Shuang Ning were given a 15-minute penalty for not alighting at the marked area, and were allowed to check in 4th, and had their penalty applied to the next leg, but Neng Yang & Neng Wei were eliminated.
  5. ^ Sunny & Kevin and Valerie & Beatrice were given a 15-minute penalty at the Roadblock site for speeding. It didn't affect their positions.
  6. ^ Sunny & Kevin initially arrived third but were given a 30-minute time credit by production, which pushed them to 2nd.

Leg 1: (Singapore → Vietnam)

The first Detour of the race was a choice between Mastery of Art and Master Pho. In Mastery of Art, teams must recreate part of the Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural using spray paint to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of the founding of Hanoi. The artist would give teams their next clue. In Master Pho, teams must collect and purchase ingredients to make Pho, the national dish of Vietnam (1 kilogram of noodles, 500g of beef or pork, 1 packet of pork balls, 1 packet of MSG or salt, 250g of lemongrass) and then create a bowl to the satisfaction of a pho master, who will give teams their next clue.

Additional tasks

  • Teams must proceed first to the carpark of FMC, where teams must find one of ten postcards featuring the Hanoi Opera House and search the back for their next clue.
  • At the Hanoi Opera House, teams must find a banner with the words "Methodist Church" in Vietnamese "Nhà Thờ Giám Lý" and search for the clue box to find their next clue.
  • At the Flag Tower of Hanoi, teams must complete a Tower of Hanoi puzzle to get the clue which directed them to the Pit Stop.

Leg 2: (Vietnam)

The first Roadblock of the season required one team member to use a traditional Vietnamese pottery wheel to make a mug to get their next clue. The Detour was a choice between Hard Labour or Relaxed Mind. In Hard Labour, teams travel via taxi to Lifestart Foundation and construct a traditional Vietnamese paper lantern. In Relaxed Mind, teams travel via taxi to a spa and enjoy a traditional Vietnamese massage to get their next clue.

Additional Tasks

  • In an unaired task, teams must sign up for one of two charter buses departing the next morning for Hoi An.
  • At the Fujian Hall, teams must search for “Mr. Thran” who will give teams their next clue after a tea ceremony. Teams must then drink one cup of tea each before being given their next clue. In an unaired portion of the task, the team that arrived first will win the Double Express Pass.

Leg 3: (Vietnam → Cambodia)

This leg's Detour is a choice between Build It and Stitch in Time. In Build It, teams must build two wooden desks to the specifications of a carpenter. Once done, they must deliver them to a class to receive their next clue. In Stitch in Time, teams must use a manual sewing machine and complete a Cambodian school uniform to receive their next clue. In this leg's Roadblock, one team member had to guide a rat to find a race marker above a deactivated landmine. Once their rat signalled that it found something, a Mine Technician would search the area. The team will receive their next clue when the Race marker is located.

Additional Tasks

  • At Psah Chas, teams must find marked tuk-tuks and relief supplies which they must deliver to Mustard Seed School to get their next clue.
  • After the Detour, teams must find Cambodia on the map to get their next clue.

Leg 4: (Cambodia→ Malaysia)

In this Switchback Roadblock task from Season 2, one team member must prepare Penang Laksa to the satisfaction of Rev. Daniel Lee before being given their next clue and a bowl of laksa to eat. The Detour was a choice between Labour of Love or Patient Mind. In Labour of Love, teams must find their next clue by unlocking a padlock at the “Locks of Love”, once done they will get their next clue. In Patient Mind, teams are given five pictures of wild animals to memorise and must find pictures of them hidden on a marked jungle trail, and collect them to get their next clue.

Additional Task

  • Upon landing in Penang, teams must travel to a supermarket and purchase items used in Laksa, Malaysia’s national dish. Then, they will have to take a taxi to their next Route Marker, where they must present the purchased items to former Foochow Methodist Church Rev. Daniel Lee who will give them the next clue.
