 Belgium Brussels 2 June 2015 Sturgeon gave her first major speech in the EU capital since she came to office,and met with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.[1]
 United States New York City, Washington, D.C. 8-12 June 2015 Sturgeon visited New York and went to the 9/11 memorial, New York-Presbyterian Hospital and visited a school in Brooklyn. In Washington, D.C she met with the Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde.
 Ireland Dublin 19 June 2015 Sturgeon attend the 24th British-Irish Council (BIC) Summit and met with Taoiseach Enda Kenny.[2]
 China Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong 27-31 July 2015 In Beijing, Sturgeon opened a new Whisky Experience Centre at the Single Malt Club, gave a speech at the Chinese Friendship Association and met with State Councillor Yang Jiechi. In Shanghai she opened a new factory for J & D Wilkie. In Hong Kong she met with Chief Executive of Hong Kong Carrie Lam and opened the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation.
 France Paris 7 December 2015 Sturgeon went to Paris to attend the UN global climate change summit. She also met former Irish President Mary Robinson, Governor of California Jerry Brown and German Social Democrat politician Rita Schwarzelühr-Sutter. Before the summit started Sturgeon visited the Bataclan.[3]
 Belgium Brussels 30 June 2016 Sturgeon met with the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz and leaders of the European Parliament.
 Germany Berlin 9 August 2016 Sturgeon met with Minister of State for Europe, Michael Roth to discuss the EU referendum result.[4]
 Bosnia and Herzegovina Sarajevo, Srebrenica 20-21 August 2016 Sturgeon met with Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic, the Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak and the British Ambassador Edward Ferguson. She also visited the site of the 1995 genocide at Srebrenica.
 Iceland Reykjavik 12 October 2016 Sturgeon addressed the Arctic Circle Assembly. She also met Icelandic Prime Minister Sigurður Ingi Jóhannsson, Finnish Foreign Minister Timo Soini and Iceland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Lilja Alfreðsdóttir.[5]
 Ireland Dublin 28-29 November 2016 Sturgeon met with Foreign Affairs Minister Charlie Flanagan, Tánaiste Frances Fitzgerald, and President Michael D. Higgins. She also gave a speech to the Seanad Éireann.
 United States Sacramento, Stanford, New York City 4-8 April 2017 In Sacramento, Sturgeon met with the Governor of California Jerry Brown at the State Capitol Building and visited Silicon Valley where she met with Tim Cook.Sturgeon gave a speech at Stanford University to make a speech on Scotland’s Place in the World. In New York, shevisited the United Nations and met with Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN Women Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka and UN Commissioner on Human Rights Andrew Gilmour.She also visited New York University Tisch School of the Arts and Carnegie Hall.
 Ireland Dublin 6-7 October 2017 Sturgeon met with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar. She also addressed the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.
 Iceland Reykjavik 12-14 October 2017 Sturgeon met with President Guðni Th. Jóhannesson, Foreign Minister Guðlaugur Þór Þórðarson and former Danish Minister of the Interior and of Social Affairs Karen Ellemann.
 Germany Bonn 15 November 2017 Sturgeon attended the 2017 United Nations Climate Change Conference and met with Norwegian Minister for Climate and Environment Vidar Helgesen and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
 China Beijing,Shanghai and Hong Kong 8-13 April 2018 In Beijing, Sturgeon met Scottish students studying in China,Vice Premier Hu Chunhua and Minister of Culture and Tourism Luo Shugang. She also visited the Forbidden City. In Shanghai she met Vice Mayor of Shanghai Weng Tiehui and Chancellor of Fudan University Jiao Yang and toured Fudan University. In Hong Kong she met with Chief Executive Carrie Lam.
 Germany Berlin 25 June 2018 Sturgeon met with the Mayor of Berlin Michael Muller, Minister of State at the Foreign Office Niels Annen. She also held business reception with the German Chambers of Commerce.[6]
 Poland Auschwitz-Birkenau 2 November 2018 Sturgeon visited Auschwitz-Birkenau with 200 pupils and teachers from across Scotland.
 United States Washington, D.C., New Jersey, New York City 4-6 February 2019 In Washington, D.C. Sturgeon visited Georgetown University. In New Jersey, Sturgeon met with the Governor Phil Murphy. In New York City, she visited a Scotland Is Now investor lunch and Executive Director of UN Women Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcukaand Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights Andrew Gilmour.
 Canada Ottawa, Toronto 7-8 February 2019 In Ottawa, Sturgeon opened the Scottish Government office in Canada. In Toronto, Sturgeon opened the Toronto Stock Exchange and met with the Toronto Region Board of Trade.
 France Paris 18-19 February 2019 Sturgeon in Paris met with Minister for European Affairs Nathalie Loiseau. She also met with ambassador from New Zealand and Iceland and the Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo.[7]
 Ireland Dublin 27 May 2019 Sturgeon took part in a discussion at the Royal Irish Academy. She also met Taoiseach Leo Varadkar [8]
 Belgium Brussels 11 June 2019 Sturgeon met EU Chief Brexit Negotiator Michel Barnier, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and gave a speech at European Policy Centre.
 Germany Berlin 18 September 2019 Sturgeon met the Minister of State for Europe Michael Roth, had a breakfast meeting with the German Council on Foreign Relations and the Association of German Chambers of Commerce.[9]
 Ireland Dublin 15 November 2019 Sturgeon attend the 33rd British-Irish Council and met with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and First Minister of Wales Mark Drakeford.[10]
 Norway Oslo 8 January 2020 Sturgeon met with Prime Minister Erna Solberg and gave a speech addressing the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise.[11]
