Propel Manila is a Philippine advertising agency based in Makati, Philippines. [1]It has collaborated with major clients such as Jollibee, Starbucks, and Globe Telecom.

Notable campaigns[edit]

Propel's #LoveIsAllWeNeed hashtag was a viral social media campaign in support of the SOGIE Equality Bill that was being discussed in the 17th Congress at that time. Infographics for the campaign specifically called to give messages of love to Senate President Tito Sotto, senator Manny Pacquiao, and senator Joel Villanueva, who opposed the passage of SOGIE. [2] Celebrities such as Heart Evangelista, Anne Curtis, Iza Calzado, Pia Wurtzbach, and many more participated in the campaign. [2] [3] [4]

Propel collaborated with Globe Telecom, and Pride@Tech, a LGBT non-profit organization, to create Retold with Pride, a marketing campaign where classic Filipino folktale stories would be retold from the perspective of the LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month. The retellings were posted as 11 1-2-minute audiobooks on Google Podcasts and Spotify. [5][6][7]

Awards[edit]

2021 Campaign Asia Awards - Propel won Southeast Asia Best Culture Gold and Southeast Asia Talent Development Program Bronze. It was nominated for Philippines Digital Agency of the Year and Southeast Asia Integrated Marketing Agency of the Year. [8]

2021 Boomerang Awards - Propel won the Tech Innovator Boomerang for various ad campaigns. [9]

2021 Spike Asia Awards - Propel won a Silver Spike for Entertainment for Retold with Pride. [10][11]
