Hi Widr, Got u answer. My little insert was in fact not supposed to be constructive. I added these question to see if somebody could supply more info abt mr PW. Are you a member of greenpeace by the way? enzvyz — Preceding unsigned comment added by Enzvyz (talkcontribs) 20:56, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Constructive edit

I am not sure how correcting the name of the movie Bryan Singer is working on is not constructive. The name of the movie changed from Jack the Giant Killer to Jack the Giant Slayer. Please explain how it is not constructive.

Frankie Valli

It's not that hard to find an example of the record label from 1953. As a matter of fact, it's on YouTube. Search YouTube for 'Frankie Valli My Mother's Eyes' and you can see the record spinning on a turntable. It's also a well known bit of trivia to 4 Seaasons fans. I appreciate the efforts you do to keep na eye on things, but to respond so quickly without doing your own research seems premature. I would like to think that, if I was in your position, I would devote a few minutes to checking before dismissing an entry. I mean no offense; I get a little concerned when facts are dismissed so quickly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bbrownlie (talkcontribs) 06:25, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

please help

Hi There,

I am new at wiki and am really just trying to establish myself with the credits I do have. Can you please help. I keep getting warning signs on my page David Banks (Comedian) All that I have listed is true. Please see my imdb page, and website. Many thanks for anything you can do David — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.111.190.83 (talk) 01:03, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) It looks like you are removing the AfD notice from the page. This is not allowed per Wikipedia policies. If you would like to contribute to the discussion, you can visit the AfD page here and add your vote. Vacationnine 18:49, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Mamta Kulkarni

Hi, I'd like to know why my edit to Mamta Kulkarni was undone.. she was covering herself with her hands in the photograph on the cover of the magazine, and thus she was not exposing anything.. Have a look at this link and see the picture for your self : showbizphobia.blogspot.com. thanks Life's Kid (talk) 07:54, 12 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations from STiki!

The Silver STiki Barnstar of Merit
Congratulations, Widr! You're receiving this barnstar of merit because you recently crossed the 10,000 classification threshold using STiki.

We thank you both for your contributions to Wikipedia at-large and your use of the tool.

We hope you continue your ascent up the leaderboard and stay in touch at the talk page. Thank you and keep up the good work! West.andrew.g (talk) 05:41, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

War in Darfur

My edits were not vandalism. They were deliberate, and well thought out, though small. You even reverted something as innocuous (and useful) as hyperlinks I added for 'guerilla tactics' and 'Toyota Land Cruiser'. I'm undoing your reversion. Please do not blanket-revert all edits flagged by STiki. Thank you. 117.197.53.235 (talk) 20:35, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 20

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of programs broadcast by Disney Channel, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Teacher's Pet (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:23, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

last paged edit removed

yeah I do think you did it wrong and it was constructive I mean seriously whats the point in having the track listings twice wouldn't it be more better in just having the deluxe edition track listings separate well its entirely up to you but I felt I had mad a positive contribution tad pointless if the edit is gonna be revoked! good day to you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.255.126.131 (talk) 13:01, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Leonard Live-Forever Jones

Hey Widr, you just removed my addition to the page on immortality.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_people_claimed_to_be_immortal_in_myth_and_legend

I made the following addition, in all caps: Leonard "Live-Forever" Jones (1797–1868), an eccentric who ran for President of the United States in every election between the late 1840s and 1860s on a platform of immortality. He believed that mortality was simply a matter of poor morals, and with prayer anyone could live forever. THEN HE DIED.

I did this because I didn't want people to be curious about what happened to him, since he's not listed in the section on failed attempts.

Please reinstate my edit ASAP. Thanks.

Postscript — You wrote "Isn't it obvious that he died since the year of his death is also mentioned? I don't really see why your edit would be necessary."

Is it necessary? Perhaps not. Does it add to the value of the page? I believe it does. And since I've gone through the trouble to add it, then message you about it, and now message you a second time, as a regular Wikipedia user I would really appreciate it if you would just back off here and let the edit stand. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.37.216.235 (talk) 14:53, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

My edit was constructive.

I don’t know why you automatically assumed my edit wasn’t constructive two seconds after making it. The Imperial city box was in the wrong place, and I put it where it belonged, next to the section on the imperial city. Assume good faith. 138.16.101.158 (talk) 16:43, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
