Delvin Hughley page
I neded that page deleted ASAP. My life is being exposed and endangered. Thanks Delvin5 (talk) 21:29, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

World Food Day
Hello,
Your edits on the World Food Day are promotional and only tangentially related to World Food Day. Please do not revert my edits, or only revert to edits that have to do with World Food Day that comply with Wikipedia's writing style, as opposed to a promotional message for an agricultural college. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gdougher (talk • contribs) 13:58, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
University of Timbuktu Edit
Hello How are you? I presume well.
My name's Ekon and I'd really rather you not revert my edits. When I do make changes to any article on this site I always back the changes up with peer-reviewed, indisputable evidence. Furthermore, the changes I made were consistent with the original topic. I simply added new information and I also included links to view the original information. You made the claim that my changes were not constructive. Could you expound on that statement please?
Sincerely: Ekon — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cs298400 (talk • contribs) 01:55, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hello Ekon. You need to format your additions correctly and avoid adding original research. Please also use the preview button, so you can actually see how the article will look after you save it. Widr (talk) 04:39, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
Deleting the info?
Whats your reason for deleting the info? talk 11:32, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
- Did you pay attention to your edits? You had added parts of Ne-Yo's infobox to the article. Widr (talk) 15:49, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
- Yes! I changed parts of Ne-Yo's infobox to the article. EricEgo2012 (talk) 1:34, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
- You also keep adding unsourced info to the article. Note that you are about to break the 3RR rule; either add a reliable source or undo your edits. Thank you. Widr (talk) 17:39, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
you are totally right. these changes dont appear constructive at all, and i certainly dont recall having made them at all. it doesnt make ANY sense. i dont hope anybody has hacked into my ip adress. sorry for the trouble. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.191.187.83 (talk) 03:50, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

Third Transjordan attack
I am paying attention. That image was renamed with incorrect information. It was the 'Anzac Mounted Division' --Rskp (talk) 06:42, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- Do you mean that "ANZAC Mounted Division capture of II Corps at Ziza.jpg" is not a correct title for the image? Widr (talk) 07:22, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- It should be "Anzac Mounted Division capture of II Corps at Ziza.jpg" --Rskp (talk) 07:42, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- According to ANZAC (disambiguation), ANZAC appears to be the correct acronym. Is this really a valid reason to revert the edit and call the renaming a "series of disruptive edits"? Widr (talk) 07:58, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- Yes it is the correct acronym for the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps but this image is not of ANZAC. --Rskp (talk) 00:59, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
MTV EMA
Nominations are devided into regional categories.--Spacejam2 (talk) 14:10, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
- Is that really necessary? To me it looks a bit clumsy. Anyway, this seems to be a content dispute, not "VANDALISM! VANDALISM! VANDALISM! etc." like your edit summary said. Widr (talk) 14:56, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
The Deer Hunter Edit
The Deer Hunter deals with people of Rusyn descent living in the US. The tradtional Rusyn wedding celebration is a key scene in the film. It is certainly not "unconstructive" to correct the erroneous claim, that you have chosen to restore, that the film deals with Russian Americans. The Rusyns come from a few hundred miles to the west, speak a different language and have different practices. It's odd that you'd make such an arbitrary and ill informed choice unless you had some weird agenda. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.253.246.232 (talk) 01:06, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but you need to add a reliable source for these kinds of changes, otherwise it can only be seen as your own interpretation. No agendas there. Widr (talk) 06:09, 5 November 2013 (UTC)

You sent me a message
You sent me a message about something that was written on the article on Wheaton Academy. I do not remember writing that edit. I did go to that page today around the time it was edited, but I only read the article and did not even click on the "edit" button. That's the school I'm at, and I was using a school computer when I looked it up. I did not write that, and I do not even know what it was (I never saw what it was that i was accused of). In fact, I do not remember writing ANY of edits that I have notifications about. I think they go back to about October 2011, which was before I was even using this computer or attending the school, so there was no way that was me writing those. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.146.216.163 (talk) 16:35, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

Dark Doctor rename
Why did you remove my request for renaming my page. The page needed to be renamed as just "The Dark Doctor" at the moment is not 100% appropriate. You gave no reason for this edit and I needed the page renamed otherwise it just gives more people a reason to delete it.Mcs2050wiki (talk) 17:00, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
- Your request was for moving a media file, not for renaming an article; thus the tag was wrong, like I wrote in the edit summary. I suggest you wait until the deletion discussion is finished before making further requests. Widr (talk) 17:20, 8 November 2013 (UTC)

Teach me STiki
Hey Widr I recently got rollback rights and I want to use STiki but I want to know about its features before I get going. So would you do the needful? Sohambanerjee1998 11:27, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Sohambanerjee. STiki is pretty easy to use. The main thing is to understand the difference between vandalism and good-faith, yet unconstructive edits that need to be reverted. When you log in, you see the latest version of the page on the right side, and the previous version on the left. On the left side you also see the classification options. If you are unsure about some edits, press "pass", and that edit will be passed to another STiki user to decide. If there is nothing wrong with the edit, you press "innocent". That's pretty much it. You should also read Wikipedia:STiki and the corresponding talk page; there are helpful people around if you have any issues with the program. Widr (talk) 12:23, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
- Currently I see two options Cluebot NG and STiki which one should I use, I am using the Cluebot one as I think its the better one. Sohambanerjee1998 12:37, 21 November 2013 (UTC)
- I have only switched between the two options in times when STiki has continuously dug up edits that are several days old. In my opinion, for a common user there isn't much of a difference. Widr (talk) 12:46, 21 November 2013 (UTC)

can you pls wait for sometime. I have a colleague here at wikipedia who can remove watermarks. So. pls wait for a day or so before uploading non-watermarked images. -- Sriram speak up 16:20, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
- I replaced two of your images. I just wonder why you didn't upload those originally, since they are not difficult to find. Widr (talk) 16:22, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
- The images that I have uploaded are better. Thats why I added them and asked the other guy (Soham) to remove watermarks. Pls wait. I havent uploaded so many images with watermarks. Only one or two since they were better. After I'm done with it, I'll request him to remove watermarks. -- Sriram speak up 16:25, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
- Those images will have to be reuploaded anyway. Why not first remove the watermarks and then upload them? Widr (talk) 16:28, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
- I don't know how to remove watermarks. Soham does. So, I upload it and ask him to remove WM. And the two files that you re-uploaded were the only ones with WM. I'm actually clearing the backlog at Category:Images with watermarks. What damage can they do in a couple days he might take? -- Sriram speak up 16:32, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
- They're not doing damage, it's just a bit silly to upload them twice, IMO. But surely you can do what you see fit. Widr (talk) 16:39, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

File renaming
Why did you rename this file? According to WP:FMV/W there was no reason to do this. |FDMS 17:18, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
- "5. Correct obvious errors in file names" applies here. "Eltron" --> "Elron". Widr (talk) 17:37, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for the answer (and the rename), I only noticed that the position of the "logo" in the name changed. |FDMS 17:39, 2 January 2014 (UTC)

- No problem. If the username hadn't caught my attention, I would have probably missed it too. Widr (talk) 13:09, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, the username was a good tip-off. I know I did see it, but kind of glossed it over because I was thinking about laying down the block on the other vandal account. Heimstern Läufer (talk) 14:04, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
