Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at There's a Wocket in My Pocket, you may be blocked from editing. ZimZalaBim talk 14:50, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
- I don't appreciate this change. I am not vandalizing at all. I am simply explaining that the gender of this kid should not be assumed. It is very offensive to me that you would assume his gender to be a boy. I would never label you as a male or female. I would expect you to treat this classic book with the same respect. Thank you for understanding this issue. 108.160.176.75 (talk) 14:57, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
- But by labelling the boy as 'non-binary' you are therefore assuming that he is neither boy nor girl, when he could be one of which. Unless you have a source that backs up your claim the boy choses to identify as non-binary, these edits are non-sensical. Synorem (talk) 15:01, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
- I respect how you feel. I guess it can be changed to the kid of an unknown gender. That is a good compromise between each side. Then no one is assuming the gender of this kid and we aren't forcing children to decide this young kid's gender. 108.160.176.75 (talk) 15:10, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
- @108.160.176.75 : It's common practice to refer characters of books as boys or girls as it has documented by reliable sources. There is no need to change that. Our aim isn't at forcing children to decide a character's gender, but using something like "unknown gender" is a form of original research that is prohibited by policy. I'll ask you to stop making these kinds of changes. Best, NotAGenious (talk) 17:57, 21 March 2024 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Horton Hears a Who!. —asparagusus (interaction) sprouts! 15:04, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
- Please tell me how an elephant is a male. As an English teacher and nonbinary, I can tell you that the correct pronouns are it and its for Horton. I am going to report you if you disrupt and humiliate my LGBTQIA+ community any further. 108.160.176.75 (talk) 15:48, 25 March 2024 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users.
