I notice you are removing content from Outback with a rationale related to the content being in or that you are moving to Deserts of Australia. There is no policy in Wikipedia that requires that content to appear in only one article. If a reader is looking at Outback, they might not be intending to read Deserts of Australia or vice versa. We do have policies about two articles not being about more-or-less the same topic (where we look at combining them into a single article), but this is not the case with Outback and Deserts of Australia as not all the outback is desert. So the test of whether content belongs in an article is relevance to the topic of the article (and appropriate sources of course). Can I suggest you look over the edits you have done and consider if some of the removal of content you did was actually necessary, that is, it was not relevant to the article you removed it from? Thanks Kerry (talk) 05:22, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

One another thing, I thought the Outback article was packed with images - Most of the images I omitted from it were not relocated to the Deserts of Australia article. I merely removed them. Also, I understand that the images and some content may be relevant to the article, but I thought they'd fare better in the 'Deserts' article, particularly the lists of national parks and roads.

Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Linda Hunt, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 11:00, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm RTao. I noticed that you recently removed content from Western Sydney Parklands without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Western Sydney Parklands[edit]

Hi @110.175.97.18, can you explain what you mean by "Western Sydney Regional Park" is now defunct as a designation of the area? Should the Western Sydney Parklands just have been moved to Western Sydney Regional Park? Does it not exist anymore? I can't find any news pieces about it, so I'm just trying to understand how those two articles are different/whether we actually need content at both. Alyo (chat·edits) 17:48, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. That was a mistake on my part, which I corrected later after researching the existence of the park. Your confusion is completely understandable. Let me clarify: Western Sydney Regional Park is a large picnic and recreational precinct in the park system called the Western Sydney Parklands. Western Sydney Parklands is a park system that features a number of precincts such as the Nurragingy Reserve in the north, and other facilities (already listed in that article). Western Sydney Regional Park is a large park that should rightfully have its own page. By 110.175.97.18 02:58, 30 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ahh got it, thanks for explaining! Alyo (chat·edits) 03:33, 30 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
